Infrared Saunas

These cabins bring far infrared and full-spectrum heat into the home, using low-EMF carbon panels to deliver sustained, penetrating warmth at wavelengths the body absorbs efficiently. Each unit is built from Canadian hemlock, a timber selected for its dimensional stability under repeated thermal cycling.

Questions Worth Asking Before You Buy

Far infrared operates in the 7–14 micron wavelength range and is absorbed efficiently at the skin's surface and the tissue just beneath it. Full-spectrum units add near and mid infrared wavelengths, which sit at shorter wavelengths and interact with the body differently — near infrared in particular overlaps with photobiomodulation research. Which you choose depends on how you intend to use the cabin and whether you want the added wavelength range that full-spectrum provides.

EMF — electromagnetic field emission — is a reasonable consideration given that you sit within close range of the carbon heating panels for extended sessions. Lower-EMF panels reduce your proximity exposure during use. When reviewing specifications, look for units that publish actual EMF measurements at sitting distance rather than at the panel face, as the two figures differ meaningfully.

Most 2-person cabin designs are assembled by the owner using interlocking tongue-and-groove panels without requiring trade tools. Standard footprint dimensions typically fit within a spare room, bathroom annexe, or basement space, though you should verify the specific unit's assembled dimensions against your ceiling height and floor area before ordering. A dedicated 20-amp circuit is generally recommended for units in this power class.

Infrared saunas ship free on most orders within the Continental U.S. — Alaska and Hawaii are excluded. Delivery is to a ground-floor accessible location as standard freight. If the unit is not right for your space, our 30-Day Return Policy applies; review that policy page directly for the conditions and process, as units of this size have specific return logistics.

About Our Infrared Saunas

A home infrared sauna is a thermally controlled enclosure that uses carbon or ceramic heating panels to emit infrared wavelengths rather than heating the surrounding air the way a traditional Finnish sauna does. The result is a lower ambient temperature that still delivers sustained radiant heat, which many users find easier to tolerate for longer sessions. Far infrared units focus on the longer wavelength range that the body absorbs most readily at the skin and subcutaneous tissue level. Full-spectrum models extend into near and mid infrared territory, broadening the wavelength profile available in a single session. When choosing a unit, the material of the cabinet matters: timber species vary in how they respond to repeated heat and moisture cycles, and dimensional stability over years of use is worth weighing. EMF output at sitting distance, panel coverage area relative to cabin volume, and control interface quality are all practical differentiators. A 2-person format suits most residential installations and allows for shared use without requiring a dedicated wellness space larger than a standard spare room.
